Transfer Process
1
Your previous servicer will send you a goodbye letter informing you of the transfer. This usually happens around 15 days prior to the transfer.
2
We formally begin the onboarding process. This process starts on your transfer date and can take between 7 to 10 business days to complete. Please note that you will not be able to set up your online account until the last day of this period.
3
Once onboarding is complete, keep your eye out for a welcome letter and an email from us providing you with your new account information. You will also receive your first RoundPoint billing statement at this time.
4
Once you have your welcome letter or email with your new loan number, it’s time to set up your online You Are Home™ account. Simply select “Register your Account” at the bottom of the login box to get started.
Once you’ve created an account, you can download our secure mobile app to access your account from anywhere.
Go paperless and help plant a tree

Why go paperless?
- Convenient: Access your statements online anytime, anywhere.
- Secure: Reduce the risk of identity theft from lost or stolen mail.
- Eco-Friendly: Support reforestation efforts with a simple switch.

Payments
If you sent a payment to your prior loan servicer during the transfer, don’t worry — they will forward it to us. During the 60-day transition period, we will not report payments as late to the credit bureaus if the account is current at the time of the transfer. Additionally, no late fees will be incurred during this time.
The most secure, simple and efficient way to make payments is through our online account, You Are Home™, where in just a few clicks you can make one-time or set up recurring payments. You can also enroll in paperless delivery, a timely and secure way to receive your mortgage statements and related information.
Once you set up your You Are Home™ account, download our Mobile App to have the convenience of RoundPoint in the palm of your hand. Simply sign in using your You Are Home™ credentials, authenticate, and you’ll be on your way!

Service transfers are a common occurrence in the mortgage industry; actions taken by the customer do not cause a transfer.
During the first 60 days following a servicing transfer to RoundPoint, no credit reporting will occur. This ensures credit will not be affected if payments were made to the prior servicer, after the transfer to RoundPoint.
During a servicing transfer, you will change who you make your monthly mortgage payment to, and the new servicer will manages your escrow account, and be available to answer any account questions that you have. Please be assured the transfer of your mortgage loan does NOT affect any term or condition of the mortgage agreement itself. However, the transfer could affect fees levied by the new servicer to perform certain account services, such as fees to process payments and/or to set up automatic payments to be drafted from your bank account.
RoundPoint will cancel your auto-draft after your last payment is made, prior to the new servicer transfer. You will receive confirmation of your auto-draft cancellation as well. Please reach out to your new servicer to set up your new auto-draft.
Login to your online You Are Home™ account to stop your ACH payments and save down any information you’d like to retain. Your new servicer will begin accepting payments after the transfer date.
If you’re enrolled with us to have your monthly mortgage payment automatically debited from your bank account, this service will end when the transfer occurs. We will draft any payment you have already scheduled on or before the transfer date, but NOT any payments scheduled after that date. If you use your bank’s automatic Bill Pay service, please make sure to update it with information for your new servicer.
If you have mortgage life or disability insurance, or any other type of optional insurance, the transfer of servicing rights may affect your coverage, including a risk of cancellation. Contact your provider with any questions or concerns.
Payments received by the previous servicer during the transfer of a loan, are sent to RoundPoint as soon as possible. The process of receiving all loan documents and payments may take as many as 60 days following the effective date of transfer.
Trailing payments during the 60-day transition period, are not reported as late to the credit bureaus if the account is current at the time of transfer. Additionally, no late fees are incurred during this time.
