Deleting The RoundPoint Mortgage App from Your Device
When you delete the RoundPoint Mortgage App from your iPhone or Android device, you are removing the application itself, along with the option to remove any data stored locally on your device, such as settings, preferences, and cached files.
However, it’s essential to note that deleting the App from your device alone does not remove any of your personal information from You Are Home™. Your account information is still stored within your You Are Home™ account, allowing us to service your loan. As disclosed in our privacy policy, we do retain certain critical pieces of data for reasons such as security, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
Deleting Personal Information and Closing Your You Are Home™ Account
While deleting the app may remove locally stored data, it doesn’t automatically erase your personal information from within You Are HomeTM.
If RoundPoint is no longer your mortgage servicer, or you have completed your loan obligation, you may will access your online account to view historical documents. If you no longer need those documents, you may want to take the extra step of requesting to have your information deleted from within You Are Home™ and closing your account. Please note that even after account closure, as disclosed in our privacy policy, we do retain certain critical pieces of data for reasons such as security, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
To do so, you will need to contact our Customer Care Team at 877.426.8805. Our team is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
